Production : 50 000 bottles.
Grapes :
– 70% Grenache
– 15% Mourvédre
– 15% Syrah.
Terroir : Clay, Limeston, Rocky.
Vinification : After a total de-stemming, the fermentation period is during over a period of 5 weeks.
Ageing : Stainless steel, barrels for 9 months.
Alcool : 14°
Tasting : Dark ruby , tightly wound cherry and dark berry scents unfold slowly with notes of licorice and succulent herbs emerging. Rather ungiving on the palate, offering bitter cherry and cassis flavors and a touch of smokiness. Firm tannins shape the finish, which leaves cherry pit and cracked pepper behind. (Josh Raynolds)
