The “Cuvée du Château” Red Vacqueyras 2020

Production : 30 000 bottles.

Grapes :
70% Grenache
– 10% Mourvèdre
– 10% Syrah – 10% Cinsault

Terroir : Clay – Limestone – Rocky

Vinification :
After a total de-stemming, the fermentation period is during for 5 weeks.

Élevage : Stainless steel- barrels and demi-muids for about 18 months.

Alcohol content : 14° .

Tasting : Nice garnet robe color. Black fruit is dominant, blackcurrant, Victoria plum and blackberry but again with a very definite garrigue herbal note, facets of fig and mushroom wafted in and out, showing that the wine is still young. Great wine because it is concentrated and complex but above all very elegant.The tannins are evident and fine.These is a true expression of Vacqueyras.
