The “Cuvée du Château” Red Vacqueyras 2016

Grappes : 70% Grenache – 15% Mourvédre – 15% Syrah.
Terroir : Clay – Limestone – Rocky
Vinification : After a total de-stemming, the fermentation period is during for 5 weeks.
Ageing : Barrels and demi-muids for about 12 months.
Alcool : 14°.
Tasting :
Ruby-red. Vibrant spice-tinged raspberry and floral pastille scents, with a smoky mineral element adding vivacity.
Silky and sweet on the palate, offering lively red fruit and white pepper flavors and a touch of candied lavender.
The mineral note repeats on the lingering gently tannic finish.
