Enthronement and tasting at the winery

You are all invited to this festive also quaint event !
The “Maîtres Vignerons “of the Brotherhood of Vacqueyras organize, June 18 from 11am, an enthronement into the Château des Roques.

Several wineries dressed in regalia call the candidate for induction for his presentation.

The ceremony is opened and takes place according to the rite established by the Brotherhood.
The candidate must turn:

Skip the traditional tests of well “mirer” (looking), well “gouster” (taste) and well “lamper” (swallow).
Swear allegiance to the Brotherhood and the wines of Vacqueyras.
Be knighted by the great master.

The enthronement ceremony concluded with a thunderous applause, the delivery of a personalized diploma,

a big tasting and a snack with  live music !
